CP related things
While it is much more convenient to use a mod to find out your CP, sometimes mods arent available to people (i.e. new update so mods wont work for the time being). first off, titles, enchants, personas, status affects and any other buffs in no way contribute to CP. the only stats that affect your CP are your base stats (the ones in parenthesis next to total stats example: str 172(100), where 100 would be your base stat).
each stat adds a different amount of CP per point you have in it.
skills themselves also increase CP by a certain amount depending on what rank they are, and some, like barrier spikes or golem alchemy dont add any CP. as there are too many to list, you can simply go HERE to find a full chart of skills that add CP and how much of it they add at what rank. however it does not add in all the CP of every skill you have. it takes the full amount of the highest CP giving skill you have, plus half of the CP given by your second highest CP giving skill you have. so say your combat mastery and smash are rank 1 (and everything else F or not even learned), it would take the full 300 CP 1 of them gives, and the second one would be haved to give you 150, totaling 450 instead of 600.
age up also affects CP as does leveling up.
the easiest and most expensive way to keep CP low is to use -CP enchants on your equipment
for a full list of -CP enchants and where to get them refer to THIS page
to find your CP relative to a monsters CP you need to multiply yours by a certain number to see what strength rating they are to you (strong, awful, boss etc.)
so if your CP was 300, anything with 900 CP and up would be boss to you
the formula to finding your CP is: C = x + 0.5y + h + 0.5m + 0.5q + f + 0.2n + 0.1d + 0.5w + 0.1u
where:
C=Combat Power
x=highest cp giving skill
y=second highest cp giving skill
h=Base Health
m=Base Mana
q=Base Stamina
f=Base Strength
n=Base Intelligence
d=Base Dexterity
w=Base Will
u=Base Luck
if you are bad at math or just lazy you can use THIS website to find a calculator to find your CP
